Maria Waleska Alvarez Mirabal was born in Venezuela where she studied Social Communication. Later she moved to Rome where she graduated from the Faculty of Economics with a specialization in Fashion Business at the University of Rome La Sapienza.
Maria Waleska has developed professionally working between Milan, Paris and New York for luxury brands such as Ermenegildo Zegna, Ballin, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Alexander Mcqueen, among others in the field of branding and strategic business development.
After completing a Master in “Personal Shopping & Trends Research” at the University of Milan NABA, in 2016 she launched the personalshoppingmilan.com project, together with Fabrizio Conte.
PSM offers 3 services: Strategic Brand Consulting, Online Education (E-learning Programs) and Personal Shopping Experiences.
In addition, Maria Waleska belongs to the board of teachers from prestigious universities such as: Istituto Marangoni, La Sapienza University of Rome, Brown Latin America School, among others. teaching courses on innovation topics in the fashion industry, fashion branding and personal shopping/ image consulting.
Fabrizio Conte was born in Rome, where he studied Communication and Marketing at the Universitá di Roma Tre. Later on, he moved to Milan where he did a Master in Digital Marketing and Social Media at the University of Milan NABA.
In 2016 he launched the personalshoppingmilan.com project, together with María Waleska, where he is in charge of web development and digital marketing.
During 2020, as a result of the change in market dynamics caused by Covid-19, he designed and launched MDM Milan Digital Marketing (website coming soon), the first digital marketing agency specialized mainly in fashion. The goal is to offer designers, entrepreneurs and boutique owners a 360 degree digital service to elevate their business from the physical to the digital world successfully.
